Beauty vloggers are quite experimental when it comes to techniques. They somehow found alternative uses for things you can find in your home like spoons, toothbrushes, the likes. They used spoons to make that perfect winged eyeliner, or for the perfect cut crease eyeshadow effect, toothbrush for a face contour press, and the end results are always pretty impressive.
Just recently, the SiliSponge went viral on the internet and everyone was just dying to have one. Who wouldn't, right? You save a lot of product by using a silisponge. But beauty vloggers still preferred to use a sponge as it blends better and faster. So when Laila Thari posted her video of putting a condom around her beauty blender on Instagram and her Youtube channel, people automatically went crazy and tried to use this hack, too! And well, the result is, indeed, impressive.
It’s relatively controversial since condoms are meant to be used for one thing, right? Well, these beauty vloggers swear that using a condom on a beauty blender makes it easier to reach the tough spots.
What you need to do is wash off the lubricant of the condom and wipe of the excess liquid then put your beauty blender/makeup sponge inside, tie a knot and go over your makeup routine. It’s so easy you can try it for yourself!
Although some vloggers state that it’s crucial that you clean the condom with a wet wipe before proceeding with your next routine because the condom dries the makeup product quickly.
