Makeup travelling tips
Going on a roadtrip, or just traveling around can be a little bit stressful when you have so many spillable products in hand. Lucky for you, there are tips we'd share with you when it comes to packing your makeup essentials so they won't leak on your travel duration.
1. Get A Good Make Bag
Sonia Gil, a travel vlogger, said that agood makeup bag is crucial when travelling. Get yourself a makeup bag that has pockets so you can organize and store your brushes the right way. Also, find a makeup bag with plastic interiors so cleaning any spilled makeup product would be easier to clean. Here's her video of how to pack your makeup:
2. Make A List
It is advisable fo ryou to make a list so you don't overpack makeup products you don't need. Start by daily facial routine, jot it down and you'll see what products you only use and need to bring.
3. Plan Your Travel Outfits Ahead
When packing, try to visualize yourself in that outfit so you'd see what kind of makeup you should go with. It's important that your makeup maytches the outfit you're wearing.
4. Use Multi-Purpose Products
For example, a lip tint can also be your blush, a pale eyeshadow can be your highlighter, and so on. Also, pack a few lippies with different shades so you don't get stuck with one shade.
5. Bring Facial Wipes
Use facial wipes in removing makeup residue and dirt from the day.
6. Use Reusable Travel Bottles
These are available in department stores. Buy some of these and transfer your shampoo, conditioner, and body wash into these little bottles so your bag won't be bulky.
7. Bring a Ziploc Bag
Organize your makeups by putting the on ziploc bags--one for eyes, one for lips, one for ace, and one for the brushes.
