Apparently, 'Braided' Brows Are The Latest Beauty
Last week, squiggly brows were in and now there out thanks to the latest eyebrow trend that has been circling the internet and beauty vloggers see to be loving it.
Say hello to the 'Braided' brows. Eros Gomez, a 17-year-old makeup artist from Los Angeles, braided his brows. He didn't actually braided it but he tried many times. "I spent almost an hour using things like hair gel and spirit gum in an effort to braid my tiny brow hairs with no avail," he tells Allure. "Once I realized it wasn’t going to work, I decided to just edit the braid on."
The idea came to him after he tried out "brow chains," a brow art trend that involves gluing necklace chains to your brows. "I knew eventually someone was going to do the braids, so I went ahead and did it first," he says. Photoshopping the braid onto his brow took a lot less time than attempting the braid. "Since I am a pretty moderate Photoshop user, creating a layered photo wasn’t difficult at all and took me about 20 minutes," Gomez says.
