by Unknown May 16, 2017 OMG

1. During hang outs, you're always the first to leave because you have curfew. You try to extend your stay but your mom is a very insistent caller.

2. Asking for a sleepover at your friend's house takes a lot of mental preparation. Your parents probably ask for your friends name, phone number and also her mom's just in case. In addition, you should ask permission a week or days before the actual sleep over. Your chance of going is based on your behavior towards them.

3. On-the-spot plans do not apply to you because they hate unplanned hangouts. They hate it more when your friend asks permission for you.

4. You always had to wait for your parents to be in a very good mood before you ask them for anything.

5. Your friends never understand why you cannot ask your parents again if you could hangout at someone else's place. They don't know that once your parents say no, it's final.

6. You cannot go out on Friday AND Saturday. You can only choose one day because your parents would never agree to both.

7.You have lied constantly. And you still are, now.

8. Family dinners never involve your social life and love life because your parents assume you didn't have one.

9. You can never go out without your parents commenting about your outfit.

10. Dying your hair an unusual color, getting a tattoo, or an additional piercing is impossible to achieve because once you do it, all hell breaks loose.

11. Whhen you're watching movies where there is a kissing part, your parents won't calm their wits. They're gonna go crazy about you watching 'adult' movies.

12. Manners are everything. You probably got the "I don't want people to think you were raised by irresponsible parents" speech more than enough that you never EVER forget about it.

13. You've probably spent years of dreaming and planning spontaneous trips where you won't ask for permission.

14. You're always careful with the jokes you tell around your parents because one wrong word will mean hours of lecture.

15. If you miss one phone call from your mother you instantly feel nauseous because you know you'll get into trouble as soon as you get home.
