How to be Kikay on a budget!

by Unknown May 19, 2017 Fashion & Beauty

Shopping is considered as a therapy these days especially when you're already a working girl but of course, within a limited budget. So here are tips in getting a fashion wardrobe that you want without falling short on your budget.

1. Know your style
Firstly, ask yourself, "what style of fashion do I want?" Once you've figured it out, stick by it so when you go window shopping you'll know what you'll get. This will prevent you from buying clothes you won't use after using it once.

2. Take a look at what you have
Go through your closet and take a look at what clothes you have. For instance, do you own a lot of clothes in different shades of blue but no red?; or do you have more t-shirt than tops that would be good to wear on a date?; look at your shoe rack, do you have more heels than flats and sneakers? and so on. You should keep the clothes that fit your vision of style and what doesn't.

3. Sell, trade or toss
Let's be honest--there are stuff in your wardrobe that are too good but you never get to use either because it doesn't fit you or it just isn't the right clothing for the occasion. Why not consider selling them? That way, you could have more budget for more outfits!

4. Shop for clothes that can be paired with anything
Clothes that can be paired up with almost anything are called the classics. For example, look for tops that can go with different styles of jeans, skirt, and shorts.

5. Be careful in online shopping
Online shopping is great especially to those that already know their size and are contented with the picture provided by the seller. But often times, the items received by the customers either don't fit them or just plain ugly because it didn't match the design shown on the photo. So should you decide to online shop, ask the seller to send you actual photos. Plus, always consider the shipping fee. There are shops that have couriers with high paying rates so it's better to look for shops with an option of free shipping.

6. Take a shopping body
Not only can a shopping buddy help you with deciding which ones to buy, your shopping uddy should be the one to put a limit in your budget. The one who would always remind you the cost of your budget.
