We're sure you've heard of the saying, "to be beautiful is painful." but painful being toxic is something totally different. 

Here are products that might be causing danger for you.

1. Bath Bombs

These coloful, beautiful, fun balls made for you to enjoy your bath tubs may not be the safest trend there is. According to Allure, the chemicals that smell so good can actually cause an imbalance in the pH of your vagina. They don't always cause itching and irritation but remember that not everyone has the same tolerance to each ingredient.

2. Lip Balm

Although it may be keeping your lips from being dry, there are still some chemicals that you need to be careful of. Beeswax, lanolin, petroleum and benzocaine are some things to keep an eye out, especially if you have sensitive skin.

3. Nail Polish

Loving your weekly mani-pedi? You might need to re-evaluate that. There are harsh chemicals like dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene and formaldehyde in a nail polish. These can also be flammable, toxic and have brain-damaging fumes. You can apply these occasionally or choose a more natural polish brand for regular use.

4. Deodorant


Aluminum salts found in many antiperspirants can increase the chances of having cancer because your armpit located near your upper breast where tumors usually form. Make sure you look at the ingredients before you buy your deodorant.

5. Sunscreen

Make sure your sunscreen doesn't have a high concentration of retinyl palmitate or vitamin A palmitate. This ingredient receives too much exposure that can develop skin cancer.
