Lipsticks Can Be Used for Full Face Makeup? Check Here!
On a grand scheme of things, lipstick would be the most elevating product that can change your whole look. There are so many different shades and finishes that it can make your bare face look glamorous in a nanosecond.
But if you're one of those people who managed to amass such a collection of lipsticks and sometimes wonder how on earth will you be able to use them, here’s a list of things you can do with your lipstick, brand new or not. Even though lipstick is made for your lips, it still has a ton of other incredible uses, just like when you use your eyeshadow as eyebrow powder or highlighter! You can do so many things with it that you’ve never even thought is possible. You can use lipstick for just about anything under the sun. So if you've got lipsticks lying around that you haven't used or don't use anymore, Here’s a few hacks to make your lipstick be of use once again:
As Blush
No blush? No problem! This might be the most widely known use for lipstick other than for your lips. Simply draw lines on the apples of your cheeks then blend it and voila! You have achieved rosy, red cheeks. If you use a matte lipstick that is a bit hard to blend, just use the back of your hand as your palette to blend the lipstick then apply it on your cheeks.
As Eyeshadow Base
Using a synthetic brush or your fingertips, spread some nude shade of lipstick over your lid then set it with a powder to prevent it from creasing. This lipstick will act as an eyeshadow primer that will keep your eye makeup intact throughout the day.
As Color Corrector
You can use your orange shade lipstick as a color corrector covering your dark circles and spots. Dab a little amount of lipstick underneath your eye as you would with a concealer and blend softly. Make sure you blend it smoothly before applying concealer to avoid a caked-on look
As Contour
Every lipstick hoarder has a brown finish lipstick that may have been lying around somewhere since the shade upholds to be a little complicated to wear on a daily basis. Brown, taupe shades actually make an easy-to-blend contour color. Swipe a few on the back for your hand and using a stippling brush, swirl around the mixture and gently swipe along your cheekbones, jaw, and temples.
As Eyeliner
You may have purchased a blue or green shade lipstick once because you thought you can bring it but it turned out to be a little extreme. What better way to use of them but as eyeliner! Just like with the eyeshadow technique, make sure your lipstick is completely sanitized, then use an eyeliner brush to swipe the product across your lash line.
As Lipgloss
Not ready to say goodbye to your almost empty lipstick tube? Turn it into a lipgloss instead! Just mash it up and mix it with some Vaseline, or clear gloss to create your own custom lip gloss.
