Cold Compress
The easiest way to relieve pain and inflammation on a sunburnt skin is cold compress because it causes blood vessels to constrict.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera has inflammatory properties and contains lidocaine, an anesthetic that helps soothe the pain.
Baking Soda
Another effective way to reduce pain and itchiness is using baking soda. Mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda to 1/4 cup of water. Apply it directly on the sunburned skin and leave it for about 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar has a lot of uses outside the kitchen. Like the above mentioned, it can soothe sunburn pain and speed up the healing process. Simply mix together equal parts of water and ACV, afterwhich soak paper towels in it and place it over your skin. When the paper towels start to dry up, remove them.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal is a great way to help the skin keep moisturized. Though it is not as effevctive like the others, it still can reduce irritation. Just have an oatmeal bath.
