Olive Oil and Anti-bacterial Soap
Mix together 1 part olive oil to 2 parts anti-bacterial soap (Joy Antibac will do the work) on a plate. Then wet your makeup brush using lukewarm water and dip it on the mixture you've made. Rinse with lukewarm water but make sure you only wash the bristles. Do not wash the brush handles.
