10 Mistakes That's Stopping You From Having Good Photos You Keep Doing Number 4!
Models are amazing. They don't just look pretty and stare into cameras. Being in billboards and covers of magazines requires really good posing skills.
Model wanna be or just want to post something of social media? Here's 12 mistakes you have to stop doing to look good in photos.
1. TILTING YOUR HEAD FORWARD
Try not to tilt your head forward instead, put that chin up and be proud. Put your head slightly forward. This will make your neck look slimmer and will add a little elegance to the image.
2. CROSSING YOUR ARMS
Crossing your arms will turn your whole figure into a blur. Show off your curves and put your arms down while spreading them slightly apart. Angle your body somewhat to the side. By doing this, your neck will look more slender and your body outline will be defined.
3. NOT WATCHING YOUR POSTURE
Straighten your spine while bending backward at the waist. If you want to sit down for a photo, don't lean against the back of the chair. To define your body outline more, try sitting with your legs to the side and your upper body looking to the front.Your neck might look short and a few extra pounds might be added to your waist if you don't straighten you spine.
4. HAVING THE WRONG ANGLE
Choosing the wrong angle can make your arms and legs shorter or even wider than they appear. If so, change the angle. Always put one leg to the front or place them above the other so it will seem longer. You can also change the angle by slightly turning away from the camera.
5. TURNING THE TORSO TOO MUCH
If you do this, your shoulders might appear round and narrow and your waist might seem wide. To fix that, turn three-quarters toward the camera. Your waist will look thinner and your bust bigger.
6. JUST STANDING STRAIGHT
Clothes can stop you from showing off those beautiful curves. Move your arms away from your body and try using them to create straight lines that will define your curves even more.
7. WEARING BAGGY CLOTHES
If ever you are wearing baggy clothes and need to take a photo, place your hands on the front side of your hips. Make sure that your wrists are visible. Put one hand slightly above the other.
8. SHOWING YOUR ELBOWS
If your arms need to be seen in a certain photo, you need your hands to be in plain sight. Move your elbows slightly to the side. An arm whose elbow points straight to the camera will make it look shortened.
9. POINTING YOUR PALMS TOWARD THE CAMERA
This will make your face look smaller and some of your features might not be seen.
10. NOT EMPHASIZING YOUR FACE
Show off that beautiful face of yours by extending your fingers. this will help highlight the contours of your face. Raise up your hand under your face while making it look relaxed and natural. Taking a pen with two fingers and removing it without moving your position will help you.
