Are You Applying Your Eye Cream Correctly?
The eyes are the windows to our soul they say and through our eyes, we can easily see the signs of aging. An anti-aging beauty routine is advised once you enter your 20s.
Eye cream is very important in your beauty routine. It helps moisturize and even out your skin tone so that you look more awake. It also helps reduce puffiness and lighten dark circles — that is, if you’re putting it on correctly. You can be either putting to much product or putting it on the wrong area.
Here are a few pointers that would help you apply eye cream so that it actually works.
1. Use only the right amount.
Putting too much eye cream won't help disappear your wrinkles overnight. You might even risk your eyes that way. Remember that a little goes a long way. It's advisable that you use only a pea size of the product.
2. Always use your ring finger.

Your under eye is very sensitive so it's best to use your ring finger when you apply your eye cream since it has the softest touch. Dot the product under your eyes then gently tap it or massage it softly.
3. Never tug or pull at your skin.
Be careful when you apply eye cream because the skin around the eye area is very thin and very sensitive. To avoid any stretching, don’t pull at your skin and instead just give it a gentle glide along the orbital bone.
