The Adidas Shoe That Will Make You Hungry When You Run

Pizza or working out? Can't choose? But why choose when you can have both. Refinery29 and Ultraboost made it possible thanks to a collaboration.

These shoes are designed for women by women. The story behind this unique pair of running shoes is actually pretty great. There's an entire collection of crazy new Adidas kicks — 50 pairs to be exact — that were designed by a group of 10 female artists, according to a press release. 

Those 50 pairs represent the 50 states of America.The shoes themselves were designed by artist Jen Mussari, but that's not the only exciting pair to come out of this brilliant collection.

Just over here adding the last pepperoni to these UltraBOOST X’s! I was given free reign by @adidasrunning to glue, stitch, paint, and of course add fake grass to five pairs to visually represent 5 of the 50 states as part of their BOOST the Nation campaign. While the shoes have already sold out due to being on sale only for an online auction, 100 percent of the proceeds were donated to the Women Win organization, which strives to empower girls through sports.
