10-Minute Makeup Routine For The Sleep Deprived

by Unknown March 30, 2017 Fashion & Beauty How To's & DIY

Sleep deprivation is the number one enemy of girls all over the world as it can leave your face yellowish pale and wrinkly. Your eyes will have that dark circles that are so obvious that you did not get that ideal 8-hour sleep you so desire. And when you cannot afford beauty sleep, then make up for it with the right make up routine.
So here’s how to fake awake – the makeup routine that can wipe away the signs of a sleepless night and you will not have that I-didn’t-sleep-a-wink-last-night look again.
The essential rule of course is to do your basic skin care routine – wash, tone and moisturize.

Start the clock ticking for this 10-minute routine:

1.  Apply your base. You don’t need heavy, thick foundations or powders and anything that dries matte on your skin. Remember, if your skin is looking tired and feeling dry, a matte formulation will only emphasize the obvious, so stick to glow-giving tinted lightweight bases or primer. Look and shop for sheer tint base. Just blend it in with your fingers and it will even out the skin for a perfected complexion.

2. Next, hide those dark circles, redness and any blemishes on the skin with a brightening concealer under the eyes. When putting concealer, blend it in using your ring finger for less pressure.

3. Now that the skin is perfected, you will need to add some color to perk up your complexion. You may add a cream blusher to the apples of your cheeks to reflect a natural glow, making the skin look more plump and fresh, like you’ve just come from a brisk walk. Cream blusher is also much easier to apply.

4. To complete the routine, accentuate your eyes by using a volumising mascara to make them appear wider giving you that more awake look. You don’t like wearing mascara? Then simply give your eyelashes a good curl – this is an even quicker way to open your eyes.

5. Add a liquid highlighter to your skin to have that extra radiance boost. Be sure to not overdo it.

6. If you want to open up your eyes, add a nude-colored eyeliner onto the lower waterline. This will cancel out redness and will boost the brightness of your eye color.
When you want to keep the attention away from your eyes, a bright lipstick will perk up your complexion, especially in skin-brightening pink shades.
