Nichido Final Powder Vs Coty Airspun Loose Powder
Our country is very humid. It is hard to stay matte especially if you are very oily. Putting makeup on can cover up but with this heat, makeup can easily melt. Powder is key to keep our faces fresh and shine-free. It can also prevent creasing.
Here are two powders from two different brands. These two powders also have a price difference. Which is better? Let's see.
Nichido Final Powder
This is a local brand that you can purchase for 150 pesos. It’s often been called a dupe for Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, because it keeps skin matte but doesn’t cling to dry patches. It can hold up to 8 hours. You'll look oily but it's very manageable. It will sink into the pores but it looks okay. Not bad for 150 pesos.
Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder
You can purchase this from beautymnl's website for 650 pesos. It's been around since 1935. This has a strong vintage scent. If you have a problem with looking for the right shade for you, don't worry because this powder has a translucent shade. It is finely milled but not as silky as the Nichido Final Powder. It's flat and has texture that is same with a baby powder. It is very matte and feels kind of heavier. It gets oily but the finish will look dewy. It also doesn't sink in the pores!
The verdict:
The Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder is the winner but if you're sensitive with the smell then you could go with the Nichido Final Powder that is actually good for the its price.
